Kelly and her husband had been professional photographers working together for years but an idea was the genesis for going viral and this incredible project: Dancers and Dogs.
They previously took professional photos of dancers and wanted to combine their passion as huge dog lovers. The idea evolved and Dancers and Dogs was created by pairing the simple, clean backgrounds, the simple clothing styles, the lighting. They've created a way to show the lighter side of the dance world, since dancers are often depicted as being so serious, and sometimes even unapproachable or like fairy-tale creatures.
They are donating a portion of their proceeds to Stray Rescue based in St. Louis
